It's a challenge for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 came as she led the batting statistics, but this knock was preceded by six games in India over the past few weeks in which she had failed to pass 30.

"For those following me in training, it's been a challenging time because it appeared my form was missing at all," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

Once she was dismissed Australia needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the confidence to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can succeed."

These statements will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship want to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will win from any position has only strengthened - this triumph coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.
